I badly want a chrome or nickel 1911A1 in .45. There’s already chrome 1911A1 style guns offered but they’re 9mm/38 super. I just want the standard GI model. Make this in .45 with a short trigger and I’ll buy. https://tisasusa.com/1911a1-regulator/

Iver-Johnson Arms makes a bright chrome (slide & frame sides are polished) 45. ACP 1911A1, model number: CHR45BP. Not bad looking! I know a friend who has a pair that are consecutively serial numbered. He likes to wear them in a double shoulder rig, on Halloween, playing a big time gangster. Cooper If we're talking about other companies that make polished nickel 1911s, RIA sells them and Cimarron sells the same RIA/Armscor with their name on it. One thing I don't like about the Cimarron is it looks like they engraved it after it was plated, so I think the letters would rust. The RIA doesn't have all the faux colt engraving on the slide. |
