Buy once and cry once for a Streamlight Streamlight 69475 TLR-8 HL-X G ?

This is my home defense bedside. Bright light and green laser. Also have a Holosun on it, is having a laser overkill? I am also concerned with dark room and ability to aim if startled

It's expensive, like $323 on Amazon but open to suggestions.

Green better?

Overkill if I already have a holo site on it?

It's not that expensive TLR2-G is like $420.
The surefire X400-G is about double.

Also, what is the difference between this one and the TLR8 I am considering?
