I've been carrying a Glock 17/26 for decades, mostly because of work. I picked up a 92fs compact because I wanted something nicer. Seeing if anyone carries one daily, and if so, how you like it, any tips or tricks that you recommend. Thanks |
| I rarely carry mine, but I had Ernest Langdon do a trigger job on it. You can sent it in to Langdon tactical for that or buy the trigger job in a bag and install yourself. Vz thin grips, i put a different hammer in mine mostly for looks, i think it was the wilson combat version. And finally a w/c lo profile single sided safety lever which is probably the best mod for carry to not have the safety lever printing on your shirt and also digging into your skin at the same time |

I have a Beretta Model 92 Compact L (as well as a single stack Model 92 compact M). The Beretta 92 has always felt overly large in the grip, and I find the trigger reach to be a bit longer than optimum. Consequently, I installed a set of Wilson Combat ultra thin grips. I also installed a short reach trigger and since I was already swapping it out, I also installed a short reset trigger bar. I also added a low profile de-cocking lever to avoid the issue of unintentional activation that can occur on the pre-G models, as well as an extended magazine release. In initial use, I found the grip panels to be uncomfortably sharp for IWB carry and sanded the points down a bit on the left grip panel. As modified it's a very comfortable and reliable concealed carry pistol, albeit still on the larger size. Compact L:  Compact L and single stack M.  \Compared to the CZ 75 Compact PCR, the Compact L is noticeably larger.  And, even with the ultra thin grips, its a lot wider (right), than the Compact L (center), or the CZ 75 Compact (left).

For a while I carried a Custom Carry but its too wide to conceal well on my frame and ultimately I moved to a 4 1/4" S&W M&P 2.0 in .40 after grinding off the rail :-) |
