A 22lr version, an 87 clone, should be a good seller with the popularity of the .380 80 series Beretta clones. Even the surplus 80 series guns go for good money. But, I know very, very few people who shoot 380 or 32 that much. Those that do virtually all reload AND collect vintage pistols. An 87 clone would be a perfect high volume plinker/trainer/fun gun for DA/SA fans. You could get some good trigger time with the platform too. Unfortunately a decent Beretta 87 is around a $1k these days. But, they are quality up there with the CZ Kadet. Hell, even some of the high end Gunbroker imports have imported 87s With the prevalence of suppressors a factory threaded option would be a perfect host. I would be in line for $400 for a 1:1 87 clone with MECGAR mags. I was told by the importer they had zero interest in a 22lr then they released the 86 version.  Hopefully we see a Turkish 87 clone of Beretta doesn’t do the “80X” treatment to the 87. The only 22lr they produce in house is the Bobcat which leaves them without a real target pistol now that the Neos is gone. (Don’t care for the Umarex produced “92”). Let’s see what Shot brings. |

I agree, I think that this would be a very good seller, provided that it was made as an actual copy and not cheapened with pot metal or other crappy materials. I'd really enjoy a steel frame model too, which I do believe Beretta actually made at one point many years ago. |

Well the new “Jaguar” is likely a Ruger MkIV clone.  They should have just given the market another meme gun or CCW with an unused threaded barrel. Post #23 has a dude with an expired NDA agreement with Beretta about the .22lr. Huge let down ”It’s a Mark IV variant.
