Any feedback on these? Always thought the tip-up Berettas were kinda cool, but I never owned or even shot one. I'm always on the market for another .22 suppressor host (especially since my son now has my TX22) and the 20X has caught my eye. Current .22 semis include a Beretta 71, a Ruger 22/45 and an S&W .22 Compact. Anyone here own one? What's the good and the bad on these? |

| Have about a dozen of the various Beretta tip-up rigs. The 20x is a decent piece but I'd call it middle of the road relative to the older 21a and the 950. It's definitely got some improvements like the mag release and grip ergos but I would consider the trigger a definite meh but functional. Personally I prefer the older lever for the barrel release over the new button release but that's definitely a subjective thing. The mags are polymer now versus the steel body of the older ones and are not compatible. I run my 20x with three different cans. A GSL Woodland, a SiCo Warlock and a GSL Pillbox. All work fine and it functions with subs no issue. As far as the extractor question the answer is none of the tip-up Berettas have one to include the larger 32 and 380 pieces. It would not allow the barrel to tip up as it protrudes in front of the breach face. They all rely on chamber pressure to blow the slide back along with the fired brass. |

I wonder if a new notch could be cut in a 21A mag. I haven't shot one of these in years, the Ex-wife has a 21A, but we've been divorced for a while.  |

Finally had a chance to take the 20x out today. Definitely kept the fun factor, following the 30x. Super happy with these little things. Still need to find some dang extra mags! Beretta 20x and 30x |
| Consider taking the $200 'Beretta bucks' rebate, when it's credited, wait for next sale (Beretta has been running sales repeatedly - 20-30% off), use it on mags...inventory will catch up eventually. It was pretty quick and simple when I used BBucks rebate. 6-8 rounds his pretty fast at the range, maybe buy enough to have 100 rounds or more loaded. Makes the overall value pretty good, so long as you like the model. |

I just ordered the $349 DIY deal from PSA. I then emailed Beretta about magazine availability and this was their response: Thank you for reaching out to us. At this time, we do not have an expected delivery date for our next shipment of these 20x Bobcat 8 round magazines. 😐 |

A gun that small, with a can that small, you have to manage your expectations. I'm happy with it, that doesn't mean that it's anywhere close to my 22/45 with a full sized can. |

I have had one for about a year. Great for small pest control. I use an old HTA B22 shorty with white lithium grease; it's nice for a 2-3 mags 'wet'. Usually around here it's less than a magazine for squirrels, etc. Wish the mags were metal; the 21A 22LR mags fit but the mag catch doesn't work. This also came out and I have one ordered. Somebody, somewhere, please produce a shorter, flush-fitting magazine for this pistol. The length of that grip is nice to hold, but makes the 20x impossible to pocket carry. |
