| Anyone having or have had battery drainage issues in their RMR HD? I am on my third battery since December. Twice I have found the optic dead. The first time I just thought the battery that came in it was old and drained but the second one has died fairly quickly. I am running the circle dot and auto adjust brightness? Maybe I got an old batch of energizers from Amazon? I just ordered some Panasonics from digikey. Any ideas? I’m going to try some fresh batteries and clean the contacts. |

I have been running some tests. Attached File I think I have narrowed it down to circle dot and auto mode being a really big drain on the batteries. I was surprised how consistent different battery brands were. I think my plan going forward is to leave it in dot only auto mode and swap out every six months. |
