No Usually don’t carry at friends or family house since it’s usually for a party and I’m gonna drink beers But if seen and asked to leave or take to car I’d just choose to leave. I respect other peoples property and it’s their house their rules. In az some places have the no guns sign and it doesn’t matter if you have permit or not that sign holds a lot of weight so you would be a fool to make an argument about ccw. |

Back when I would open carry a lot more, a buddy from out of town came to visit me. We decided to go into Hooters to grab a drink (day time) and I was open carrying a 4" 686+ revolver. Buddy gets his beer, starts drinking it, manager comes up to me all nervous. Asking me if I was law enforcement. I told him no. He said that my firearm was making the girls uncomfortable and wanted to know if I would mind removing it. I asked him if he was asking me to leave, he said apologetically said yes. Buddy pounded his beer as we left, and didn't pay for it since they wanted us out of there. Was never asked to leave any other establishment while open carrying. Open carried in a few restaurants, one was a chinese place where the Chinese nationality staff were VERY fixated on the firearm (was OCing same one) and would stare at it anytime they, or I, walked by. Were also extraordinarily polite. Never questioned me about it or asked me to leave though. I CC now almost exclusively though. |

No to both. But on two occasions, when I had my shirt tucked in I have been asked to take a spare magazine on my belt to the truck. In both instances, I had left my pistol in my truck but had forgot my spare magazine. We try to avoid legally posted businesses if possible and not give them any business. I do not like being made to disarm, but try to respect a business's policy. As most others have all said, Concealed Means Concealed. |

Yesterday as a matter of fact. Was at the Mother-In-Laws. Flaming lefty niece (wife’s side) comes in with her baby daddy and new crotch fruit. Sees me and asks if I’m carrying a gun. Before I could even answer she tells me I have to leave while she’s there with the new baby. Simply told her it’s not her house and her grandmother knows I carry and doesn’t have an issue. She walks out of the house and around to the backyard where everyone else was hanging out and didn’t come into the house the rest of the day. |

I was asked by a Girls dad that I was dating not to carry in his home, we broke up although that was not the issue, but being married now, getting along with your in laws is very important. I still carried in his house just very concealed after that. |

Several years ago, as a freshly minted ccw'er, a gunshow came to town. The first in many, many years. They had a sandwich sign out front "no concealed carry" and a guy at the door asking. Did l say l was new to this? I replied truthfully and was told l had to leave it in my vehicle. I went home instead. Now a days is have no problem lying to the guy. Eta: I've been discovered twice. First one was at a family 4th of July party. My brother gave me a belly slap as we were all standing around in a small group. It was my appendix carry G19 he struck. Eyebrows went up but he didn't say a word. He has his permit but I don't think he actually carries all that much. Second time, a teacher friend of mine came up on my left side and gave me the sideways hug with her hand on my right hip. It was my full sized 1911 this time. "I may need that later."  She's a cool Wyoming ranch chick. 😎 |

We didn't get CCW until 94, so it was "wholly or partially visible, weapon or holster" for a very long time. I was asked to leave a few places back in the day - every single place that asked me to leave went out of business. Weird co-incidence, of course.
I don't carry concealed at work, but if I need a gun I just go check out a Glock, 870, or AR. |

| I got made by an 11 yr old boy. He asked to see my pocket knife and i inadvertently revealed my appendix carried J frame 38 spl. He went and told his mother "uncle Mike carries a gun". They asked me if I was, and I stated "I won't tell but I usually did carry". |

never from a business, but I've generally taken concealment to mean it should be concealed If they ask you to leave, you should leave. The legal issue if you refuse would be trespassing. I've been asked to not bring guns to social events (family and otherwise) before, because they were scared of guns or simply didn't like them. Since they were events I couldn't simply refuse to attend, I nodded and then ignored the request, and since concealed means concealed it has never cause a problem. If they had found out and asked me to leave, I'd have left and the social/family fallout from asking me to leave would have been on them. |

I've had people glance at my waist when I appendix carry, as the grip printed a bit, but never has anyone said anything in stores. I used to go in to my old apartment complex and they had a no weapons allowed graphic on the door, and what was funny is the one guy that worked in there carried a good sized pistol in his waistband and none of the women that worked with him knew it. He and I talked guns from time to time and he showed me the pistol when the women weren't around. He said that he wouldn't go unarmed there with how nutty some renters can act. I didn't blame him. I could imagine the people being told they were being evicted for not paying rent or causing problems freaking out and coming to the office. |

In NC it has to be clearly posted. If it is not you have a good case to continue about your business. In SC not only does it have to be clearly posted it also has to he a certain size minimum and visibility requirements. Id just leave though and leave a review. |

I've never been observed as a carrier and so never asked to leave. The key is acting like a normal human being and not drawing attention to yourself in conspicuous fashion. Now, if the woke company I work for found out I was carrying on my personal time, or a Conservative, they would probably find a way to let me go. |

A few weeks ago I carried into a Ren Fest and the "security" folks with the wand apparently do not think to wand the crotch area for AIWB! Possibly because they get lots of hits from belt buckles and denim pant zippers? :-) Yet another reason to carry AIWB! Years ago when I lived in Orlando I also carried in Disney strong side, but nowadays I'm told they're thorough enough to detect any carry method now. But Fun parks are the last place I'd visit anyway. |

With the MIL in the ICU I got tom see the new body scanners AZ hospitals are using. IF the person is looking at the scanner, I don't care how good you are at concealing it, it WILL show up. I had to leave gun, mags, even my folder pocketknife out in the car in downtown...the only things I kept on me was my EDC flashlight, (Surefire G2 Nitrolon), and my Gerber multi tool. I guess they figured by the time I was able to unfold the blade tool, they could take me down. Then one guard told me they had three staff for the entire property, and NONE of them were armed...Honor Health at least has armed security, including K9. The clowns didn't even have OC. |
