Looking to upgrade my belt to a legit carry belt. Currently using a thick leather belt, which works okay for my XDS appendix carry. Belt is getting tired, and is sagging, so I decided its time to step up and get something quality. Below is my new CCW / holster rig. Pistol is 29oz unloaded. Figure another 8oz-ish for 17 rounds of 9mm. So looking at maybe 2-1/2 lbs for the entire rig (can weigh tonight). Was looking at the Constintine Carry Belt, and the Kore belt. However, leaning towards the Constantine belt to be honest. Current build is on the leaner side, approximately 150 lbs at 5'7". Any thoughts / advice would be great for my specific needs. And yes, I've already read up a ton on the Kore belts and the Constantine belts.

Bought one of these late last year to replace all of my "sagging" belts. Always carry appendix. Ratchet system is bombproof. Safariland "Nexbelt" |

I’m a big fan of my Kore. I have 2 Nexbelts, rachet just like your Kore. The Constantine belt is leaps and bounds ahead in comfort. The only place its stiff is in the front, basically pelvis bone to pelvis bone. The other half is elastic. You wouldn't think it would work well if you were always taught stiff, stiff, stiff....but it does. It just forms to you instead of a stiff belt forming you to it. I haven't worn either of my racheting belts since the first day I put it on. Had mine for a little over a year now and carry daily. Its so comfortable I prefer carrying my Staccato C2 over my P365X. I think the C2 conceals better. |

I think the C2 conceals better. I agree with this description. I usually carry a G34 with it in a Tier 1 Axis Elite. I carried a Prodigy in it for a while too. The elastic makes it so much more comfortable. The metal insert in the front keeps the gun/holster secure and in place while the elastic conforms to your body in any position (standing, seated, etc.). |

I have a bunch of different belts. Some which are mentioned in this thread. I'm going to recommend you try the belt at this link. I find it works very well for me and is all day comfortable. I carry a G19X and an extra 19 round mag everyday with this belt. And if you don't like it you're only out about $30. But I think you'll really like it. Good Luck. Belt |

I’d hate to total up the amount of money this site has cost me over the years.  My HC belt arrived yesterday. Expensive but amazing! I have tried many times over the years to get a comfortable appendix setup but it never worked for me with a ridged belt. Now, I just purchased a MTS pillow to make it even better.

I usually stick to the technical threads here with the intent to help others. Glad I and others could help you guys spend your money (wisely). I recently picked up a G48 and thought I’d try my old belts again like the Mastermind and the Blue Alpha Belts EDC/under belt since the G48 is thinner. Both were immediate hard no’s and I put the HC belt on before walking out the door. |
