I am quite happy with my Castle Concealment Kydex rig, but I've had a hankerin' for leather for my 80s tank.
Urban Carry offers a HUGE variety of makers in their list. I ordered one and it was shipped next day. Not here yet. It's the Signature 209 with the LockLeather doodad. Obviously they aren't really molded, to fit such a wide variety of manufacturers, which is perfectly fine and they look good. So, anyone have personal experience? |
Well, based on my experiences of the last couple of days, you people should give them a try. The three that actually read this thread, of course. Feel and look well made. Break in time is not too long, but the fit was excellent, right out the door.  Pretty cool to find a rig that works well for a gun that has been out of production for over 30 years - mine was made over 40 years ago! If you think you can't find a holster for something oddball you have, give these people a try, fast shipping and the prices won't break the bank. Can't hurt to look. Click on Select Manufacturer, then go to the bottom of that menu and click on Show All Makes. Dare ya. |

I have 3. They are very good and extremely comfortable for iwb compared to kydex. I was initially unhappy with my latest UC for my CC9 because I couldn't get to trigger guard retention tight enough to give any retention. But after rolling with it I loosend my others to gain far less positive retention. The gun stays put all day and is much faster and easier to draw so in the end I think im happier than even before. |
