While the Glock 45 a 9 with short slide full grip makes sense for anyone who has to sit in a car while carrying it the 49 longer slide shorter grip is simply retarded, so no doubt there is someone wanting one. The guns that are somewhat available at this point that would be a shame to not have are Glock 30 Gen 5, Glock 34 MOS Gen 5 and Glock 17 L MOS Gen 5 but they may or may not be available to you. The other odd duck that I would want is a Glock 23 MOS Gen 5 With LE rushing to 9mm some of the discontinued models like 29 and 30 may be interesting to own. |

I bought one shortly after Glock came out with the V models. I always wanted one and figured it was as good as time as any. I haven’t shot it yet but need to get it set up for concealed carry. Planning on the exact setup I have for my G19.5 MOS with Duffy’s plate, RMR and suppressor height sights. I’ve been trying to find a factory threaded barrel but haven’t had any luck yet. I don’t have the largest hands so the G17/G45 didn’t make much sense for me. |

| I have a Glock 49. Got a good deal on it on Gunbroker. It shoots great and the reason to get a 17 slide with a 19 grip is that the grip is the part that prints when you carry concealed. |

Just had a range day with my G19 frame and different slides: G47 slide (creating a G49) G19 + Radian Afterburner G19 stock The G49 configuration was actually bottom of my list. The extra slide mass just creates more a slow see-saw effect. I prefer the faster, slightly snappier short slide over that. (Of course Afterburner was the best.) |
