I have a couple of 380s. Larry Seecamp passed away a number of years ago and the company was purchased. So far as I know production didn't suffer any. It's a great little carry during the summer, or as a 2nd. I generally have one, or a Rohrbaugh R9 Stealth on me. By the way, those things were like $500 new 20 years ago. Yours would be a steal if it is an original and in good shape. Caution, I have one that likes to eject off my forehead if my grip isn't just right.  eta, I like your choice in knives too. I have a couple Inkosis. Well, maybe 5 or 6. |

Do it! I should have mentioned earlier, it was the 380 that was $500 because the dimensions were almost the same as the 32 and therefore more difficult to make, with more rejects. |

| Milford Ct. ? If so buy most Riki-Tik....32acp. Spare mags can be hit/miss as later mags (made at different locations) may or may not work in early pistols. Have a .32 made in Milford that I pocket carry. They won't fire w/o magazine in and slide won't cycle either. Hardball is a no go. Was designed for Winchester Silver Tip H.P. only but have shot several premium self defence brands w no problems. Do not over lube. |

My pragmatic view from experience: I got one back prior to all the micro 380’s coming out, back when guns this size were all 25’s or 22’s. Back then they were considered the ultimate deep cover gun. On a wait list for years to get one, a local FFL of ours wasn’t scalping them - at one point people were selling them in the 90’s for 50% above msrp It filled a role. But.. No sights,limited ammo choices ( I reloaded 32 auto and did develop a couple cheap practice loads for it ) Near impossible to shoot accurately past 5 yards. For its size heavy due to the all steel construction It left my collection years ago, and my deep cover gun is now a LCPII from ruger. No ammo limitations Sights Can shoot effectively and sufficiently accurately to much longer distance Cheap Easy mag availability Lighter in the pocket. For my purposes the ruger is better in every way except the boutique mystique the seecamp has. |

More elegant gun for a more civilized time. I carry it often. It is an extremely well designed vest pocket gun. If you don't want a VPG, don't buy it. I have a 7 yo Southwick gun in 32 . No problems with it. I haven't found a hollow point that wont run in it. The key to ammo for a Seecamp is OAL. It seems most modern hollow points fit the bill. A lot is made of it not having sights. Honestly I have found the sights on other pocket guns to be pretty useless anyways. The gun is designed for point shooting. |

| I have the NAA 32 copy of the Seecamp. Cool little gun but miserable to shoot. I get the occasional blowback to the face. Not so much the case but powder. It would be a candidate to sell but I hate selling guns. Not the process but the thought of having 1 less gun. |

The Rohrbaugh R9S was machined from Billet, there were NO castings used! Due to Remington purchasing Rohrbaugh for their .380, they shutdown production of the R9S. They can be found on Gunbroker regularly. Here is a photo comparing the size of the Rohrbaugh 9mm to a Seecamp .32 acp.

Seecamps are ridiculously tiny. Shooting it for a bit, then switching to a full size pistol; or shooting a 2011 / DWX / Shadow2 for a bit and switching to the Seecamp - takes a sec to adjust. Much fun. |

I have had a .32 for several years now. With the correct ammo, it's been reliable. When I wear Ariat jeans, it fits real nice and doesn't move around in the fifth or "coin" pocket! Don't confuse it with something you can just toss in your shorts pocket and think it won't sag or print, it's heavy compared to others similar in size and gravity will settle it to an un-natural angle when you want to pull it unless you have one of the pocket style holsters, which make it print worse. It's great for dropping in your jock and going places it shouldn't be though. |

Even back then spare mags were about 40 bucks - which may not seem much but back then I was making. “ good money” at 40 grand a year, and mid grade new cars were 12 grand |

Scalper's street pricing was ~$750 at that time. .32's were fairly new and spare mags had just become available. My friend, who had the FFL, and I placed our deposits and waited our time. We received them sometime in late '95, or '96. I remember that because CHL's had just become reality in Arkansas in '95 and I didn't have the Seecamp when originally getting my CHL thus it had to be added after the fact. At the time we ordered the wholesale price was $250 and by the time they shipped it had gone up to $275. |

I recently have gotten the bug to buy 25 ACP pistols. Only two currently in production. The Seecamp and the PSA/baby Browing clone. I bought the Seecamp. Its safe to carry with a round in the chamber for a round count of 8. Pocket farm tractor carry. I have only fired mine for function and so for its been reliable. I have also found out not all 25 ACP ammo is made to the same spec. Saami allows slightly larger ammo and chamber size than the European std. I also have a 1957 Italian made JetFire. It won't Chamber some American Made ammo. I think the Seecamps are great to add to a collection and shoot. |
