You got me curious, so I put the 2.0 9mm 5" slide on the 4" 2.0 Compact. Fit fine. Nothing was binding. I don't see why it wouldn't work, and I really like the way it handled. Long slide with a Compact frame should be a factory offering. |

The 3.6” is the outlier. Could be some goofy stuff with the metal frames I’m not aware of too, but doubt it. Would you be willing to snap a picture? Could only find one so far. |

In the 4”/5” combo has just a little overlap that keeps it aligned. I don’t know if that gap would be a problem in reality though. Frames all have 3 Picatinny slots. Also found this photo. Where are you looking at the optics-ready slide? I have some cash to play with and want to dick around with a dot. |

Attached File I put my 2.0 FDE 5" 9MM slide on a 2.0 FDE Compact frame for a short bit. Functioned fine. Felt funny with the shorter grip and 15 round mags. I bought some of the spacers later to fill that gap between the frame and the 17 round magazine floor plate and that made it feel better but then I had a full size frame again. I finally bought another full sized FDE stripped frame and built it up and then bought a 4" .40 S&W slide and put on the Compact frame. Yeah, the 5" slide has an Apex Tactical threaded barrel in it (in attempt to get decent groups out of the pistol) and I put that comp. on it just to see how it compared to my ported PC 5" 9MM. |

I bought mags for my 2.0C about 6-8 years ago and had to buy full size mags because I couldn’t find compact mags. The FDE ones were especially vaporware. Looks like nothing has changed. That’s absolutely crazy mags for these are still so hard to get. I think I’m actually going to abandon this idea because of it. |
