I am looking to get a set of the Heinie Ledge Straight Eights sights for my old Gen1 Kimber 1911. Did the Heinie sights just drift in or was there any fitting needed for the rear or front sights? |

I’ve installed heinie ledge sights on a series 1 lumber. No replacement sight is really going to fit without any fitting. There is always some degree of variance as tools that cut the slide for the sights wear. Overall, it was a very minimal amount of fitting for my gun |
