Dagger slide stop is incompatible with Advantage Arms .22 magazines, so trying to change PSA slide stop to Glock OEM. Finding it impossible to get the pin out. No amount of wiggling the slide stop and/or the trigger will allow it to move more than 1~2mm where it hits a hard stop. |

I ran my AA LE & 19 MOD 19 kits on a Dagger frame without issue. Here is a picture of my Advantage Arms 19/23 LE Gen 1-3 kit on my Dagger frame. I just went out and fired two mags of Aguila Super Extra 38 grain plated HP, High Velocity ammo, GTG. My AA slide wears Glock Factory brand night sights.  Here is a picture of my Advantage Arms Gen 1-3 19/23 MOD optics ready kit on the Dagger frame. I finished off the last fifteen rounds of Aguila 38 grain HP ammo in the AA fifteen round mag. Also shot ten Aguila Super Extra High Velocity plated 40 grain round nose ammo. The Dagger trigger is getting really good.  |

PSA might have changed the design or tweaked the pin or hole size from when the Dagger was first released. The early Dagger’s had issues with the trigger pin moving out of the frame from shooting. I haven’t heard any issues since early on and don’t know how PSA fixed the issue. |

Attached File Dagger trigger pin is not a roll pin. The front pin that holds the locking block in is a roll pin. The trigger pin moves readily back and forth 1~2mm. Attached File AA 22 magazine in Glock frame, no problem. Note damage from previous insertion into Dagger frame. Attached File Dagger slide stop is a different shape and will not allow the AA mag to seat. Attached File Comparison clearly showing different shape of Glock vs Dagger slide stops. |

Old age strikes again, I should’ve looked at the trigger pin before commenting. I have seen Glock frames where you had to wiggle the slide stop while pushing on the trigger pin. On that particular frame which might have been a gen 4 19 I had a Friend apply pressure to the pin while I moved the slide release where the pin when aligned pushed right out. I don’t remember trying to remove a dagger trigger pin but my trigger pin did walk a little out the right side. A small tap put the trigger pin back in place and I don’t remember it moving again. My Dagger was a very early example and I don’t know if PSA has changed the shape of the slide release/follower tab. You might email a picture of the slide release to PSA and explain the issue. Maybe they can verify your slide catch tab has the proper shape and how to remove the trigger pin. I currently don’t have access to a Dagger frame. |

I just want to confirm that op is not crazy and hitting it with his purse or getting his husband involved will not help. Op, if I remember correctly you have to hold the slide stop just right, and I mean just right. Maybe your husband could help because having a third hand might be the trick. Seriously, there are YouTube videos that help, at least there were. I have since gotten rid of all my Dagger frames or else I'd record a quick video for you. |

You have to wiggle it, just right. There's no way to explain it, all I know is it every time I did it, I was always surprised when it finally released  It's really a pain in the ass, but the people that say to hammer it are incorrect. Just a little bit of tapping will make it happen, when you have it at the exact spot. It would probably be better if you had a third hand, so maybe find a gunsmith octopus? |

There is a small piece of wire that is part of the slide stop. That piece of spring wire drops into a grove in the trigger pin. You have to get the wire out of the grove before the pin will slide out. It shouldn't take much pressure to remove the trigger pin. Pushed forward on the end of that spring with a nail set punch, until the spring popped behind the locking block. The slide stop was pivoted up at that point under spring tension, and just wiggling it a little along with the trigger and could easily push the pin out.
