I know the COA just got a general release, but I’m curious if there’s any companies who’ve commented on offering an optic cut for it. It’s also going to be interesting to see if Holosun offers an optic that uses the same cut. |
| I'm interested as well. But, haven't seen any of the usual suspects mention it yet, I'd guess they're waiting to see the COAs actually get on the market so they can gauge if there's enough interest to justify the tooling and programming. |

They’re pretty slim on details when it comes to the finish after cutting… If it’s the same as their other cuts, it’s just cold blue. DLC’s another $125. I went with Wager, only annoyance is that nitriding adds a few weeks to the lead time. Could probably go with a Centurion stainless slide for a quick option. Hopefully someone will offer COA cut gen 3 slides in the near future. |
| I sent my 19x slide to Battlewerx for an A-cut. Was supposed to arrive there today, but usps did some usps stuff, so hopefully they get it tomorrow. I've had Battlewerx do several Glock slides for me over the past 7yrs and they do great work. I don't select refinishing so I've typically received the slides back within a week. I just use rustoleum black paint on the optic cut and have never had a problem with rusting. Battlewerx was a hundred bux where Glockstore was two hundred, so instead of driving 40 minutes to the Nashville GS, I saved a 100 and sent it to Battlewerx. |
