The satin finish S&W and Taurus models? Are these able to be polished? I have a RP63 in that dull gray satin finish and would love to polish it. Thanks |

Thanks If your revolver has the laser etched "engraving" it's likely that you'll completely destroy the markings by polishing it. I have a 629 "truck gun" that must have lived for years under an old bench seat in a pickup and I knew up front that polishing it would take all of the laser etching. I took it to a laser engraver at a gun show who replaced the terrible S&W lettering with a very nice script. NOT sorry! |
