Mostly speed and retention. Do some ground fighting both strong side and AIWB carry. AIWB is easier to "protect" the pistol from an aggressor and easier to draw from if you're clenched up with someone I've done numerous drills with blue guns using both methods, AWIB wins almost every time. | I've found a full sized handgun carries better than smaller in AIWB. I've been running my Staccato P in a Tenicor Malus Sol for a while. Big handgun, even bigger with the X300U and Acro P2 on it, and it carries very nice. The pillow was mandatory for comfort. It's more comfortable than OWB and fast. I like that I don't have to crank the belt tight to conceal it too. |

My gold standard the JMCK WC2.5 I have for a C2 with no light. That holster has a big foam wedge that is noticeably more aggressive than the molded wedge on the Tenicor. I had to put a smaller wedge on there to compensate. Crazy how comfortable this is with the X300U. I’m pretty impressed. |

| I agree with a lot of the posts that longer barrel guns work better with AIWB to a point. My full size 1911 conceals better than my Glock 45 or 19. The longer barrel helps keep the gun stable and close to the body. On the G45 the heavy grip tends to tilt away from my body more than with a 1911. This issue can be largely fixed with a foam wedge though so it’s not a huge deal. After realizing how easy the 1911 is to carry I’m probably going to switch to a G34 because I shoot Glocks far better than anything else. |

Been carrying AIWB for 14 years daily. I definitely don’t think a longer barrel is better. A 43X type is about perfect but I carry a G19 with TLR7/EPS in a Vedder Light Tuk. 6’1 200lbs. Appendix is the superior carry method to me. I put it there instinctively the day I got my license without even knowing what it was called. OWB I do like 3-4 o clock. |

Now that I am in my off season, I have come back to this. This time I am trying AWIB with my G19. Based on various readings and recommendations, I went with Tenicor. I chose the Velo 5 because I am a sucker for new shiny things. Yesterday was my first full day on the body with this combination. It is a potential winner. Thus far it is much better that the 43X / Xiphos combination I tried previously. I am not certain if it is the length, the ease of setup, or both. I do need another belt. The Kore I was using for IWB 7-8 o'clock is cut a hair to short. It is usable without padding. I will still add some for comfort. I need to find the wedges I have or order a pillow. The DCC clips are the best clips I have ever used. They may be a little to good. There will be more testing with different clothes and in different situations. I need to practice drawing and re-holstering from concealment in dry fire. There is a ways to go before I EDC a loaded pistol AIWB. Progress is being made. |

| Been CCWing AIWB for 20yrs. Yes Ive found that larger handguns carry better. However Ive never used a holster to carry. I do it magnum PI style. Or what a lot of people call mexican carry. |

| I’ve been carrying a Glock 19 w stream light and red dot in a LAS concealment Saya holster (I use a T1 wedge) the past several years, I also have a Sig p365 macro and T1 xiphos (easier to carry) but I don’t bother with the Sig because Glock. Anyway, the first time I tried carrying appendix it was with a las concealment ronin and I thought there was no way AIWB would work for me. You may have to adjust the height your pants ride, I had to wear my pants higher. The Tenicor YouTube channel has a video on how to properly find the sweet spot for how to carry. I’m not a big fan of the holsters that have you carrying an extra mag out front, I just purchased a tenicor for my Glock, it appears less bulky than the las saya. I’m 6’0” 195 lbs and lean (been lifting weights my entire life), the only time I print is if I wear a tight shirt and even then it is generally only the optic that will print and just little. |

I don't post alot here, but I've been carrying since at least 1996... Most of my CCW is using Glocks. Occasionally I'll use the PSA Dagger Micro (Glock 48?). I really like appendix carry and use Raven Concealment - Their Minimalist 'Holster'... No leather involved and appendix carry is quite reasonable! Yes, the pistols get some SWEAT in the Georgia Heat but they aren't contaminated by the Georgia SWEAT flood which can occure! It's been a great asset now and going forward. Best news is that if it's a GLOCK there is a Raven holster available for use for a reasonable holster. Being fully PLASTIC and being Fully Minimalist is an asset as the holster is small, and the retention capability is solid. Take a look at Raven Concealment - It's a good value that won't break down like LEATHER! |

My G34 length holster will occasionally mush a testicle when sitting if I’m wearing slacks, it’s just how they ride on me. A G17 holster doesn’t suffer from the same issues FWIW. You can always buy a holster and give it a test drive with the pistols you have now. That’s one of the nice things about Glocks. |

I switched to AIWB 6-8 years ago, currently carry an un comped XMacro in a JM 2.5 with a MM pillow with either a Blue Alpha or MM Tactic's belt. I wouldn't even consider carrying 3:30 - 4:00 again, my chiropractor visits have gone down to almost zero, comfort and concealment are much improved. |

I use a Mastermind Tactics pillow. The pillow was a game changer in the comfort department. Hang it a little low and it lands between the muzzle and pelvic bone |

I roll with a g19, RMR in a phlster pro. The rounded teardrop bottom makes it way more comfortable to me. Took me half a dozen holsters tries to get to this point. The only real printing I have is the magwell edge shows. That’s a non issue if I wear more than a tshirt. 5’11, 170lbs, 32” waist. |

Glock 19 in a Tenicor Certum 3 holster. It'll suck for a few weeks, maybe a few months, but you'll toughen up and your skin will grow thicker when it rubs. Wear an undershirt, I like the white wife-beaters you see on COPS and rap videos. Lose your belly. Cut out sweets, or start walking and/or running more. I carried AIWB with a little bit of gut overhang.. and it sucked. My belly was bruised and sore for months.... but it was good motivation to not be so fat. 5'10" went from 200-220lbs (supplements... and heavy weights) to 185-190lbs, about 4 years ago I quit drinking and I slowly went down to 165-170lbs by diet and lifestyle. I had high blood pressure at heavier weight, not enough to need medication, but now that I'm at a lower body weight my blood pressure is perfect. |
| I have carried numerous guns AIWB over past 40 years.Both on duty and off duty and retired.Ive carried a S&W mod 36,1911 both full size & Commander.S&w Shield,XDS and Glock 26,27,30,21.Barrel length may not matter although shorter ones are more comfortable.Whatever you choose put time in on draw practice. |
