Im looking for some assistance. I purchased a surplus 84F from gunbroker. It's pretty cool and smooth despite it being a little rough around the edges. Its only got one issue: the ejection side decocker/safety does not work when you try to activate/push it up. It comes off/down as it should. Non ejection side works flawlessly. One last tid bit, ejection side side has about a 1mm or so of play up and down. Does this have something to do with it? Here's a photo for the sake of clarity of whats not in working order:  |

Here is a video of it: 84F broken safety Looking at it. I think the shaft portion that goes through the frame for part 24 is probably broken. (Part 24 on midwest gun works website) Ill probably just buy both and have my smith replace it. Of course the accompanying pin is out of stock so im sure he will just have to make one or see if its standard pin. Unless I can send this to beretta to fix? Im assuming no since this thing is old. Edit: LOL, thats a no for beretta warranty. |
