I have aoriginal 1st gen M&P 9. Years ago i picked up a OEM barrel for it threaded 13.5 metric. I really like the pistol and its a great supressor host. But i am considering consolidating platforms. Trying to deside if i should sell the M&P 1.0 and keep the barrel, sell it all as a set or sell it all separately. So far i have been able to find OEM barrels in 13.5 for all my supressed 9mm pistols. Its been tricky on a few but is nice to have the same threading and the reliability of OEM across the board. My question is, does anyone know if the older 1.0 barrel will fit the newer 2.0 M&P 9 pistols or is there any demand for the OEM 1.0 13.5M threaded barrels? |

Can't say about your case. I can say I'm running an Apex Tactical 5" 9MM threaded barrel I bought for my 2.0 5" FDE 9MM in a 1.0 5" PC 9MM. Zero issues so far. I tried it, it dropped into the slide and slide up/down smoothly. I put the recoil spring assembly I'd been using with the 1.0 barrel back on the 2.0 barrel in the 1.0 slide and I've been firing it that way, a couple boxes of ammo. I've run 115 and 124 grain FMJ, 115 and a 147 grain hollow points through it. 100% function so far. Try yours and see if it binds up or fits in, functions with no ammo and manually racking the slide and if so take it to the range and give it a try. |

I know mine's a .45 acp, not the 9MM. My barrel was from Silencer Co. My 1.0 .45 acp is shooting better groups with the Silencer Co. barrel. |
