Nice! I got my ‘61 from an older coworker that wanted to downsize. He wanted $300 when they were selling for $800. I told him so much and he was still insistent. I was able to press $400 in his hand as that was all I had at the time and he still argued with me. I won and got the pistol for $400. Granted that was around 2010 though. |

That's a very solid deal, under market by quite a bit. Estate sales are what they are. I've got a 2 1/2", 99%, blued gun and had offers over $3500 several years ago. Dad gave it to me so it'll never be for sale. I've got 1st dibs on a 1970's 4" blued gun my old buddy carried as a deputy. I intend to offer his daughter 2k when he's gone. I consider that fair and that gun has more finish wear than yours. |
