I’m getting some conflicting info. I am looking at taking a complete 17 gen 4 slide and putting it on my 22 gen 4 frame, I know the ejector will need to be swapped out for 9MM. Mags of course will need to be swapped out as well. Is this possible and functional? |

Yes it will function the ejector on a Glock 22 Gen 4 is really the only difference in a Gen 4 17 frame and Gen 4 Glock 22 frame. I copied this from the Glock armorers manual parts list. (28927 47917 30561) Trigger Mechanism Housing w/ejector (marked 30274) installed .40 Gen4 There have been two or three different ejectors used in Glock 9 mm pistol. I was getting brass to the face in my 19 Gen 4 and replaced the Gen 4 ejector with a Gen 5 ejector which solved the brass to the face. You have to buy the whole trigger mechanism housing to get the Gen 5 ejector. I’ve never tried but the Glock 17 slide might function with the GlocK 22 frame without changing the ejector. Glock has used a 336 ejector in Gen 3 Glock 17/19. Glock 17/19 Gen 4 comes supplied with ejector 30274. I have a Glock 30274 ejector you can have (if I can find it) if the current ejector doesn’t work. Looking at the armorers parts list it appears the Gen 4 pistols in 9 mm and 40 might have both been supplied with ejector 30274. I have a Gen 4 Glock 23 frame I use with an AA 22 conversion kit. The ejector is stamped 28926.
