I just ordered one for my G17 and also have a Trijicon RMR T2 ordered. I am excited to learn the red dot.  Astethically, I'm glad it doesn't have the front slide beveling of the baby Glocks and Gen5's. I am hopeful since this is a Glock part I'll be allowed to use it to also compete in MOS class with the same gun in the local GSSF leauge I shoot in. There's at least unlimited class for sure, if not. I normally just shoot stock class. I'll check with the officials next weekend at the monthly match. |

I think this is a great idea from Glock. But it seems so expensive for what you’re getting. I think they cheaped out by not even including the MOS plates. I think for the price, a barrel and recoil spring should be included, or as it is, about half the current pricing. As many GEN 3 Glocks that I have, financially, it makes more sense to just buy a GEN 5 MOS Blue Label. I would hope to see the price come down significantly, but I’m not holding my breath. |

Attached File The slides are really nice and I really like the front serrations. My 17 is around 20 years old, so the original slide had the frying pan finish which I wish Glock still used. I put in a factory threaded barrel too, so it now has three different serial numbers. If you were waffling on them, they are worth the purchase. Especially since Glock is dumping the 17 and 34 MOS Gen 5 guns. |

So following, up from my purchases, I can say that I am very happy. No issues with the slide and optic riding on it. It seems to be the same finish on the Gen5 slides and is darker than the Gen3 finish. As a one Glock guy this allows me to moderize the gun I already have, and compete in a wider scope with that one gun. California or not, I think the slide is worth while for a Gen3 owner who wants a more modern gun but likes the Gen3 over others or doesn't want to buy another gun. |

But just to reiterate, they are discontinuing all of the G34s of every generation. So if you want an OEM G34, this will eventually be your only (reliable) option (if you DIY). With Gen3 G22s still at the $249 mark, I wouldn't be shocked to see them getting paired with these slides. An Aim Surplus conversion barrel and a few mags gives you a three in one gun. A standard size .40S&W, a standard size 9mm and an optic equipped long slide. |

I had one in botach cart during Memorial Day sale. Then saw they were out of stock but said what the heck and gave it a shot. It went through with but expected it to get denied. 10% off so that saved $30. Noticed after sale they were back in stock. Like they pulled on purpose. Anyway I’m totally happy with it. Aside from the barrel not fitting (I'm fairly sure Glock slides have different size holes), you also would have the 9mm breeceface to contend with. |

Remsport offers slides for G22 and G23/G32 builds. I'm still not sure how the G22 slide is $165 while the G23/G32 slides are $115 (standard) and $145 (RMR cut)

For this instance in particular, where the slide is coming directly from Glock and there are no other matching parts or frame out there to worry about, it’s a complete non issue. |
