few questions- book sez keep away from strong magnetic stuff, or can affect time- what's considered strong magnetic? computer monitor? MIFI unit? how hard is it to adjust the SS band? better to take to dealer. bought online, so now walk it where u bought it service. thanks |

I'd guess the bracelet is a pins-and-collars type setup. Easy to adjust with a spring bar tool or even a paperclip or pushpin. Look at some you tubes and take you time and do NOT lose one of those pins or collars!!!! Nice Seiko! |

If you do suspect a loss of accuracy due to magnetization, you can always use a compass to test it. Even if you somehow magnetized it, demagnetizers are like $10-15 on Amazon and easy to use. |
