I want something more advanced than the ender 3 I had and needed to endlessly tweak. my brother bought a P2 when his P1 died and said he’d give me all his P1S extras. I’d like to play with receivers, suppressor or two and maybe storage/Milwaukee stuff. |
| What extras? Is it possible to fix his P1S? If thats the case, go for it. Can probably be repaired cheap, and likely repairs are likely parts that can be upgraded to get you to print the more advanced engineering filaments. P1S is still a workhorse and very capable with a few mods, although a P2S or X2D will do it out of the box. |

For the money the X2D is a way better printer than the P1S. The X2D is the same price as the P1S was when it came out and it added some much needed features. For the money the X2D is probably the best printer going now. This is coming from someone with a P1S and I bought a QIDI P4 because it had features the P1S didn't have at the time. Now the X2D has those added feature and dual nozzle (total gamechanger for being able to do support materials). |
