petg. The black is turning out great but the yellow and blue are fighting me. The first few layers of blue print great. Then the layers start getting fuzzy The yellow has raised ridges in it. The ironic part is, I had the blue and yellow filament in the dryer for 4 hours. The black was already in the ams.. I had it set to iron the top layer. I'm wondering if that is causing it.

To say that you are on thin ice would be a vastly optimistic view of your current situation. The ice has melted. You are being supported by the surface tension of water.

Looks like too much ironing flow. What % is it set to now? Slight chance it’s over extruded but I think it’s the ironing settings. Could also be a dirty tip, material is sticking to it and dragging causing build up. I’m just okay using the ironing function. I’ve never taken the time to fine tune a preferred ironing setting/ settings. |
