I always called myself a analog man stuck in a digital world.... after writing songs for the past 45 years I have finally caved.... using a few instruments i had here with a child's keyboard, a interface and condenser mic I recorded an idea then used Suno to make it happen.... first song in 15 years for me... my voice just suno AI generated effects... | Wish I had your voice. Well done. I can't carry a tune in a bucket. I don't see an issue tracking your own ideas with AI at all. I love live music so I expect to hear a little more inflection in the instrumentals but I'd curious what it sounds like if some of the people here tracked some of the instruments for this and you did an A/B |

I've used Suno as well. I recorded my own song and mixed it in Reaper then uploaded it to Suno along with my voice and lyrics. I can tell you what Suno created is way better vocally than I could ever actually do. I also felt it made my music sound way to perfect. I didn't like the outcome sounding to perfect and unrealistic to what I could actually do live. Now I record and mix all my music in Reaper and take only the vocal stem from Suno which I then upload into my daw (reaper) and mix myself. This creates a much more realistic human sounding mix that I can actually perform live. |
