LTL driver. Largely insulated from most trucking slow downs. Been busy as hell since Covid - even the winters. Now? Terminals are laying off dockworkers and furloughing drivers. XPO, Old Dominion and Saia that I know of. All west coast, not sure how widespread it is yet. I have enough seniority to not be dramatically affected by it but my checks have definitely taken a hit. What are you guys seeing? |

My BIL got let go from Hogan or some outfit on some BS, then he just got picked up by either Dolla General or an outfit that delivers for them. Hes gone 6 days at a time. |

Just came off 2 weeks vacation  The crane business hasn't slowed noticeably, my stand by SPMT operator did an emergency transformer move last week. I'm heading down to Pueblo to move another tomorrow. Wind turbines continue to break keeping our wind div. busy. The company I work for is diversified enough we stay pretty constant. |
