Does anyone have experience with this or other models in the Aventage lineup and would you recommend it? I’ve narrowed my search down to either this or the Denon AVR-X4800H. My understanding is that the Denon is the better choice for A/V surround while the Yamaha is better for music. My main use would be music and I would be pairing either model with a power amp. I have the RX-A710.  That's the 2nd iteration and it's of course old. It was the "bottom of the line" at the time. Anyway, I like it. It's still working after all this time (12+ yrs?). If I didn't get a good deal on it, then I would have bought the 810, which had a little more power and pre outs. My speakers are efficient, so the 710 does the job.
