before i got all high and mighty as a truck driver, I farmed used to just dip new boots in old engine oil and then let excess drip off before wearing. use to get a year outta boots now, I use a product called AQUA SEAL wash the boots in clean warm water let them dry for a day on boot dryer, then spray with aqua seal and again dry on dryer for 6 hours and reapply, dry, then back to wearing. I get 5 to 7 years out of a pair of boots |

If you’re walking around in standing water then you need rubber boots If you’re walking through dew covered fields, splashing through creeks, or other short-term wetness, boot oil and gore tex. I use Lexol. . |

FPNI. Melt the snow-seal, warm the boots up and generously apply the liquid son-seal. The liquid sno-seal will be quickly absorbed by the warm leather and make them very waterproof. I used to use mink oil, but found that dogs get really excited by the smell, as if they are supposed to be hunting the animal generating the smell. |
