Any Chemists, microbioligists, or groundwater specialists on the board? I'm fascinated with the study and interpretation of water well problems such as taste, odor, contamination, corrosion, and production. Anyone currently or formerly employed in the fields including environmental cleanup, treatment of groundwater for potable use, and the design of water systems to control bacterial contamination and limit well production loss?

Any members with a background in well chemistry, geochemistry, or microbiology that would be able to put these sciences to work in identifying the major causes of well problems? Anyone with basic understanding of groundwater interaction on micro and chemical levels?

My company’s focus is on designing, consulting, and installing new wells, pumping systems and water treatment, as well as maintaining and repairing existing systems and advising on best practices.

Any science nerds want to discuss chemistry when it comes to the use of chemicals for cleaning and disinfecting water systems?

I wish you the best, but can't offer assistance as it would be a conflict of interest w/ current employment.
