I have some non gun related pieces I need printed in aluminum or stainless. Need recommendation for places that SLM print. I was going to have them CNC machined but they wanted an arm and a leg to make them. One part is simple turning and boring no threads but the part has to be bored from both sides and pilot hole is rather small. SCS wanted an arm and 2 legs to machine the parts. If I had access to a lathe I could do them in no time. I miss having access to a mill and lathe. |

JLC pricing on just about anything they make is pretty much impossible to beat. Most companies couldn't beat them at 5 or often 10 times their price. They only part of the company where they don't seem to be that much cheaper is LCSC. Not really sure how they do it but they seem to invest a lot in their automation software. |
