Firstly, I am in no way affiliated with this car dealership or any of its employees, and I have no connections to this particular car. So a local-ish NOVA Dodge/Jeep/RAM dealer has a pretty sweet, unique last gen Challenger Hellcat Redeye in stock. Now it ain't cheap  , but it's pretty darn cool how they speced it out, in that it's got what they are calling "Hammerhead-Gray" leather interior. She's got all of the tech, driver convenience, H/K stereo, and Nav packages. A '22 with only 1.5K miles, they are asking a little under its original sticker, which IMO is pretty good. I just noticed this same dealer now has a SCHWEET Hellraisin Challenger Super Stock in the showroom. Lordy.....it's got all of the Tech Package, Convenience Package, H/K Stereo Package, and Laguna Leather Package. 30K miles on the odometer, clean CarFax, original sticker was $99K, and asking $86K. IIRC production numbers for the SS are actually lower than the Demon/Demon 170…so you can put that in your (crack) pipe and smoke it! * Source for that was one of the Hellcat related forums, I couldn’t care less to cite them directly, so knock yourself out if you’re so inclined. I don’t regret the purchase of my ‘22 (standard body) Challenger Hellcat at all, but if I had the additional financial means at the time I absolutely would have bought an SS instead…despite the ridiculous Bushwhacker bolt-on Jeep fenders. They’re going to age extremely well, as will the Demon/Demon 170s. The original Demon is a safer bet, there’s no shortage of 170s that have had catastrophic engine failures and it’s far from anecdotal; total engine replacements under warranty aren’t usual (I can’t remember the specific failure point/[s] however). Are they a ticking time bomb for some unsuspecting BAT or Barrett Jackson auction winner? Quite possibly. The OG Demon is a “safer” bet and the SS is a sleeping giant IMNSHO. ANY flagship late model supercar is going to age well, particularly if it’s kept relatively stock; Zed El Ones, GT-350/500, Z06, etc. Have you seen closing auction prices on GNXs lately? You can thank Kendrick Lamar for near $1/4-MIL prices. Love a G-body but that is one spicy meatball! * ETA ANY 6-speed manual Challenger Hellcat is going to be worth insanely stupid money. They’re more rare than hen’s teeth and are near unobtanium; when they’re put up for sale they command an insane premium and don’t stay for sale long… |

I know it's a fair weather only setup, but man, it just looks even more over the top badass IMO. |
