| I'm late 50's and my hair has turned grey and of course thining. I keep it very short. I need a product to keep it in line. If I don't have something it just looks fuzzy. I've been using some gel type stuff but it doesn't last very long. Any recomendations? |

I grow my hair seasonally. I buzz down to a 2/3 fade come summer and slowly grow it out through the year cleaning it up every so often. Personally I like "mode - lucky boy" gel. It smells nice, it doesnt go on slimy or leaving my hair looking glued and glossy (unless i use too much) the texture is uh... im not sure how to explain it but its viscous and dryer than most other gels ive had to deal with. But it washes off relatively easily from the hands and hair and it gives me a decent amount of hold through out the day. If it softens up early a little water on the fingers through the hair seems to reactivate it pretty decently. Another thing to consider would be pomade. Its like gel except it doesnt dry or harden. It allows your hair to be pliable through the day without giving you that hardened texture. If you're really just trying to control frizz and fuzzy my money would be on a quality pomade. Personally I think CREW brand hair products are nice but I was raised using them so im pretty biased Best of luck friend |
