I want to buy a hat or two and start a burgee collection at places I visit on reciprocal agreements.  My yacht club has crappy merchandise but I'm pretty sure they will only sell to members.  Anyone have experience with this?

Gift shops at all the marina yacht clubs I've been to don't care.  But I don't go to Annapolis and such.
