I love the look of this one and the feel of the titanium model, so I alternate. If they ever put the blue dial in a polished titanium case, I’d be all over it: The original 403.035 is also impossible to get out of my head:   Edited to add one more: Credor Signo 6S37. Credor is Seiko’s other top end brand (along with Grand Seiko), but still mostly Japan only, so completely under the radar. You can occasionally find this one stateside around $1,800-$2,500, which is crazy value for what it is. This exact one sold recently with box and papers for $2,400, for instance:

Wanting to try the new Longines Hydroconquest in blue. Seems like a good value. I just don't know if I can justify it with having a Pelagos 39 and FXD GMT already. I am looking forward to what Tudor has coming out next week for their 100th anniversary. |

Gotta admit...I've always been a sucker for the Rolex Yacht-Master II....it's waaaaaay overly complicated....but there's just something about it....everyone needs a 10-minute countdown timer, right? | I was half ass concerned about how accurate the IWC Mark XX I bought would be since they don't advertise any kind of accuracy guarantee, but after a week it is exactly +/- 0 seconds. I'm sure it will vary over time but the last week it has kept absolutely perfect time. |

The IWC Mark XX green dial was on my short list, but recent testimonials at WatchUSeek of bad customer service has me thinking again. I really like the watch. 120 hour reserve would awesome. It is good hearing positive experiences. I will probably end up with one. |
