Our church always does the military care packages during the holidays. Normally I just raid the Target snack aisle and fill it up with junk food. Just thought I’d ask the advice of those who have been there, what’s the best stuff to send? Doesn’t have to be food necessarily. Sorry, can’t send porn, booze, or tobacco. If I could I absolutely would, but they go through each box and take that stuff out if it’s included. |

I hear the wipes thing a lot in other threads here.
This question always sort of depends on where they are deployed though. Maybe DVD movies might be something other people don't think of, and they can be traded around and don't get used up like food / toiletries do. |

Best to ship in a 5 gallon plastic bucket you can use it to sit on use it to wash clothes and for many other uses.
