I have a 65" Vizio. Just decided to look for something a liittle bigger for the livingroom and a better picture. Went down to the local electronics store, they had a 70" LG on sale for $380 that had one particular thing that I wanted, 120 hz refresh rate. Was talking to the sales guy about other options and I mentioned that. He looked at the description and said, Yep you're right....it has a 120 hz refresh rate. Other options with the same features started out at more the double the price. Bought the TV and the mount. Got it home and spent a couple hours getting the old one down and putting the new mount up. Got it up on the wall and notice that did not have 3 hdmi connections like it was supposed to. So I started looking more and more and finally figured out that they had the wrong specs listed for this TV. This one has 2 hdmi ports and is 60 hz like every other tv. Now I am not sure what to do. I got a tv that I really didn't want but I already go it mounted on the wall and don't want to go through a return process...Also I'm not going to find one that I want in the price range so I would probably end up putting my old tv back. |

| About the best you can do given size, refresh rate and price details OP provided. Price only goes up from there if you care about practically anything else. |

You can order an adapter box that will hook to the coax on your antenna and it will stream to an hdmi port on your tv. |

The picture was a lot darker and made in China so easy pass but after that the next unit was probably close to $900... I would have thought by now that 120 would have been a low end and higher end would have been 240 hz. We have gone backwards or the onboard picture processing has just gotten better. |

Native refresh rate vs processing. Low end has been able to fake higher frame rates. You'll need all HDMI 2.1 gear capable of 120hz to get the real deal. Not sure what device you are trying to drive, but that's a minimum. Resolution only makes that more expensive. 4k@120 like my setup is thousands. 1080 or 1440 is a bit easier. |

I don't want to see that frame by frame flight path that you get with lower refresh rate. But as stated, maybe these new TVs have overcome that with new processing tricks. I'll figure it out. I am not going through the hassle of returning the tv. |
