Family member will be graduating from the academy soon. I was already told no on a Rolex. I thought about a piece of gold shipwreck treasure but don’t want to jinx anything. Any decent as in nice ideas would be appreciated. Thanks . |

Spanish Main Antiques in St Augustine had some neat stuff. Roman coins, recovered gold, and a variety of coins A buddy of mine got a gold shipwreck coin in a gold mount that is pretty nifty. |

Cash. Seriously. A new grad is going to be moving a lot between specialty schools and first assignment. The last thing they need is some nick-nac to drag around or leave at their parents house. They will have a lot of expenses. Uncle Sam will not be paying for everything like he did when they were at the boat school. |

Seriously it depends on his choice of duty: 1) Surface fleet - A nice antique compass, high end binoculars, or gold medallion. 2) Aviator or Special Warfare - A high-end knife 3) Submarine fleet - money for the psych evaluation. |
