Sorry, I’m not ready to pay over a grand for cookware just yet. Looking at the cuisinart multi clad clad pro, kitchenaid, or ninja has a newish set called everclad that seems pretty solid. Just looking for first hand experience. Can’t trust amazon reviews. |

I don't buy sets, as I always find there's something in there I never use anyway, and my kitchen storage space is limited. That said, I have a couple of pieces of Tramontina cookware that I like. They are a notch above the typical department store stuff in quality, but they are not expensive. I have an enameled cast-iron dutch oven and a skillet that were only ~$50 each. This is the pan I bought recently, and I like it. I would think twice about buying a complete set of anything. There will be 1 or 2 pans/pots you'll never use and there will be those that you need all the time, that you'll wish you had more of. Otherwise something stainless like T-fal or a Costco special. Check out a Homegoods or Targets. |

I've been running the brushed finish for decades and they're great - it's just the exterior look on the pan, the plys are the same. Copper if you really want to be cla$$y. |
