I’m interested in hearing what y’all do to manage your sling for easy recovery from your units weapon stand. I was considering Ranger bands but want to know what y'all use. |

I used to just use cut up strips of bicycle inner tubes. Now I use the Defense Mechanisms sling. Works well. https://defensemechanisms.com/rifle-sling/ |

Simple single point sling solution with setina rifle racks. YMMV if using a different lock. Loop the sling with a bight along the rail/ hand guard. (Should come up from the rear attachment towards the muzzle and then flip back down). Secure the whole sling and hand guard in the handcuff style lock. To deploy, unlock the rack, grab the hand guard and sling together, and remove the rifle. Immediately don and charge. No snags. Completely free. |

| Centrifuge Training Sling on my patrol rifle. It's the best solution I've used for deploying a rifle from the rack and not having the sling snag my coffee, flashlight, or whatever else I have stuffed between the seats. Once you have it setup you can run the charging handle and safety with the sling snugged to the rifle, yet deploy the sling quickly. |

I make a sling keeper out of a bungee cord. They are for sale in the EE. I am about to release a V2.0 with a pull cord on it to make it easier to remove.

| I think i paid around $8 for BFG’s sling sleeve. It expands wide enough to fold up their padded sling and stays on the sling when not in storage mode. It doesn’t flop around and i don’t have to replace it if i yank real hard to deploy the sling. It isn’t the cheapest option out there but it does exactly what it’s supposed to without adding any complications. I expect it will last a long time. |
