Good Wear Leather Eastman Leather Clothing Co I won't recommend Aero or Lost Worlds due to their pathetic customer service. Horween, Vicenza, and Shinki horsehide are the best for aniline dyed skins. |

My experience with them in leatherwork (holsters, belts, handbags, etc) is that goatskin is a lot thinner and has more stretch than horsehide. When compared to cowhide, the horsehide I use seems to be more sweat resistant and is definitely stiffer with a longer break in time. Also, horsehide has much much more character in its finish than the others. |

| I want a moosehide Jacket. Fantastic leather, I have multiple shoes made of it. Soft, strong, lasts forever, the soles literally wear thru but the leather is still uncracked. Brand new shoes feel like they have been worn for years the first time you slip them on. |
