I started getting back into watches. Watched a few guys that gave thoughtful reviews on watches, and the industry in general. But now Youtube is recommending tons of crap watch channels that are basically either thinly veiled paid advertisements or insufferable personalities that care more about having their face behind the camera than actually giving some decent information on the subject. Edited to add: Redlettermedia Rules! Never thought it would be so fun to watch a group of friends talking about crappy movies. |

I stopped watching Hoovie a while ago but this new channel is good. Watch Wes Work - A mechanic and a gifted engineer. He has slowed down a lot these days but when he uploads a video I watch it right away. |

Mostly music related, how to play tutorials for guitar and bass. I watch those to get the finer points that I can't figure out 100% or can't hear every note. Some guitar solos you almost have to see rather than hear. Same with complicated bass lines, especially if it's a Mark King, Nik Beggs, Aimee Mann, or Nik Kershaw ( he used Mark king in his earlier work, and has had Paul Geary on bass since 1998.) Aimee Mann is tricky in that she'll play an easy to follow line, but play in between those notes to add to it, but where it's not easily heard to back up other instruments. Even when other people play bass for her, you have to realize that she wrote it before they got a chance to hear it. She pretty much plays every instrument, records the song in her home studio, then presents that to the band and lets them make changes they think help the song. History, old military campaigns, wars , and the political reasons behind them. Biblical stuff. |

I like Off-roading channels. Nothing real specific but usually Jeep related, Trails Offroad is one I like. Some dude from Michigan wheels his Gladiator all over the country. Most of the time I just browse and let the algo show me stuff. |
