Beyond a gen 3 glock 19 the only thing I have that can accept a light is a TX22. That TX22 is the only dang pistol I own that can even take a optic plate. I noticed the thick film of dust collecting on the few glocks I have. Started wondering why the fuck I even still have them. Im thinking about taking my small collection of glocks and punting them down the road towards a modern pistol that I can throw a light and optic at. Been really eyeing the Beretta M9A4C but I am open to hearing what other people like too I mostly carry a revolver these days but a modern pistol with the accessories is sounding kind of fun |

My first choice would be H&K VP9 Optic Ready possibly the L model with the slightly longer barrel. The S&W M&P 2.0 is worth a look as it pairs well with the Folding Pistol Carbine. You could always have one of your Glocks milled for an optic like Holosun EPS Carry. Or pick up a Glock 45 MOS or the one with the ACRO. The new Walther is nice . The M9 is fat like a Glock 21 is fat but without the redeeming quality of being .45 acp or 10 mm. |

My EDC is a Beretta APX A1 Compact with a Holosun green dot. It will accept a light, but I don't carry it with one. It's light, it's very accurate, it has an okay trigger, and the ergonomics are great. It's 15 rounds of 9mm in a nice tight package. The only downside is that holster choice is not very broad. The S&W FPC pairs w/ the 9 & 10mm M&Ps, as well as Smith's 5.7 pistol. Nine different pistols pair w/ Kel-Tec's SUB 2000 - 9 & 10mm Glocks, 9mm pistols from 7 different manufacturers using metal mags, & the FN 5.7 pistol. OP, right now I carry a Gen 5 26 w/ WML, thinking of switching to Kel-Tec's PR-57 w/ 21x 5.7 on tap, no recoil, weighs practically nothing, even loaded. I just need to see how far I can stretch it out, if I can make torso hits @ 100 yrds from kneeling I'm sold, just have to pick a light, red dot, & get a kydex holster made. And don't forget SIG's new P385!
