I'm guessing the bones are a Beech 18 but who modified it and for what purpose?

Volpar, Westwind or Basler conversion. The Volpar's have tricycle gear, but we can't tell that in the pic. The Basler is a hoot to fly. The radial Twin Beech ain't a slouch for short fields but the Basler PT6A is a homesick angel. I have 33 hours in a Beech 18, 6 of which are in the Basler version. |
