I turned my Ender 5 into a Voron inspired Zero G Mercury 1 core XY printer, and I was about to pull the trigger and buy a Voron Trident kit when the Bambu P1S came out. I do like on a Voron you can just mod it to whatever you want and now you can even do a tool changer mod. |

Well I modified an air tool holder to stand off from the wall more so I can put larger tools on it and hang several on one hanger. Everything went well until I got done printing  Attached FileAttached File Using Elegoo slicer and it wanted to repair my manifold and it carved out a chunk of my model. Really confused since I made 2 copies of the hangers. Any clue why this happened? (I'm still learning how to do modeling so its likely on me) |

BBL and Prusa will probably be releasing new printers in the next couple of months. I would wait on the BF sales if you don't need a printer now. |

I did not think we had run an update to orca but parts that were running fine now have slices out of them. Its nothing like your issue though and we can see the missing sections in the sliced file.... have no clue whats going on |

Lately, I've been finding useful little things to print. Friday, I printed a new knob for a crockpot. This morning I printed a replacement handle for a 5 gallon bucket. Attached File This one was made because the original one had split, but it seems a lot nicer than the original one, so I might make more and just replace the rest of the shitty ones. Lol |

My daughter is getting ready to have a baby boy and is doing a space theme for his room. I came across this model for a moon lithophane that was generated by NASA SVS data. Used a 0.2 nozzle for better detail.....total print time ended up being a little over 4 days. Once a light is installed it looks very cool though.....should make a good night light for little guys room.
