Im drooling over a Vostok 1967 bronze with a green dial. I see where they can be had through Ebay and Etsy trusted sellers. Looks like tariffs add about 15% or $50. Im not seeing any in stock in through the U.S distributor. There's a reputable seller in Poland (trusted seller) How are the Russian movements? Anyone here with a Vostok? What's your experience/ thoughts on this brand? Im on the hunt for another bronze watch and the Vostok 67 looks like it scratches my itch. |

| i wanted a bronze watch for years and years... finally bought the breitling superocean 46 in bronze. while it being an awesome watch, i hate that wearing it is sometime nasty with the copper in the bronze causing nastiness on my skin and wrist lol.... just be sure you know the bronze will discolor your skin and patina |

I have three Chinese bronze watches, all with stainless steel backs, none have turned by skin green. |

I’m about to pull the trigger on one. They are great value for the price. I can wear them and have no worries about being too rough on them. I’m dabbling in cleaning and minor repairs so I’m kinda waiting for a good watch to work on that isn’t so expensive that I’d rather pay to have it done by somebody else. I’ve successfully taken one apart and cleaned/lubricated it. No breaks yet

Vostoks are a lot of fun and if you like to tinker you can actually regulate them to keep very good time. I've owned a bunch of them and kind of settled on this full lume Scuba Dude as my keeper. It's in a custom VostokMods case that accepts Seiko SKX bezels.
