I’m serious when I say this the entire industry needs to pull a quasi Ronnie Barrett with the state and local LE in VA including ammunition suppliers on July 1. Only sell what is legally allowed for normal people to LE agencies, individual officers or other exemptions at the state and local level. 15 round or less mags No regular ar rifles No threaded barrels Etc You can’t force a private company to supply or manufacture anything to anyone sans the defense production act. I know wishful thinking. |

Like I pointed out in the mention that sCOTUS has let New York keeps it lawsuit against firearms industry law: Lexow Committee, Curran Committee, Hofstadter Committee, Helfand Investigation, Knapp Commission(and the movie Serpico), and Mollen Commission have made it obvious that any firearms supplied to the nypd are very likely to be involved in the deprivation of rights. So when it happens(and it will, frequently) rope the dealer/distributor/manufacturer in to the lawsuit. |

“Gun violence is the key driver of violent crime in this Commonwealth and nation, and assault weapons are designed intentionally to inflict maximum damage in a matter of seconds. The assault weapons ban passed by the General Assembly and signed by the Governor will save lives in the Commonwealth and is compliant with the Constitution of Virginia. This ruling is disappointing and puts our communities at risk. The Commonwealth will urgently file a motion to stay this ruling and appeal this temporary injunction. We will continue to vigorously defend Virginia’s assault weapons ban and magazine capacity restrictions and uphold the laws designed to keep Virginians safe.” - Jay "two bullets" Jones https://www.oag.state.va.us/media-center/news-releases/3055-attorney-general-jones-shares-statement-following-ruling-in-crump-v-katz-regarding-virginias-assault-weapons-ban |

Fantastic News for a change! Text of VCDL Alert: Virginia Citizens Defense League Defending Your Right to Defend Yourself Major Breaking News! VCDL/GOA get a temporary injunction on the AWB, AW carry prohibiton, and magzine capacity limitation! A judge in Lancaster County has issued a temporary injunction against the Virginia State Police enforcing the “assault firearm” ban and carry prohibition, as well as the 15-round magazine capacity limitation! The injunction is in place until December 31st and could be extended. We expect the Commonwealth to appeal and things could change. Watch for more alerts as this fight continues. Also, an AWB lawsuit was heard in Washington County today (VSSA/NRA lawsuit). A ruling is expected in a day or two. If you care, those sellers won't see a dime from you, either. You can buy from other places that never tried to out do our commie governor by refusing to send 10 rounders or (in some cases) anything to VA "because we aren't sure!!". |

I know wishful thinking. Companies like Glock, HK, Sig, Steyr, etc.. currently sell to police and military in countries where there is absolutely no civilian firearms rights. What makes you think they will care about Virginia? Colt sold Diemco rifles to countries that banned firearms. Knights has no qualms with selling SR15's to units in the UK where civilians can't own them. The HK 416 has been adopted across Europe in anti-gun countries like France, Germany, etc.. If an American company like S&W refused to sell to Virginia LE, they'd just be replaced with Glocks with a slight shrug. Barrett being the only practical manufacturer of semi auto .50bmg rifles was the only thing that made them unique in the 90's & early 2000's. When it comes to 9mm pistols, 5.56 rifles, etc there's too many options. |

Since the states want to enable lawsuits against the firearms industry for alleged misuse, everytime a cop commits deprivation of rights and a federal lawsuit is filed add the dealer/distributor/manufacturer to the list being sued. Should be easy money showing the firearms source knowingly transferred the firearm to an agency where it was likely to be used as a tool in the deprivation of rights. |

It's pretty ironic that I heard a recording of a politician at some dinner or something saying almost exactly that. He said young adult black and Hispanic men in inner cities are responsible for most of the violence and that is where the efforts should be focused. Then he got in trouble for implementing stop and frisk in NY city of young black and Hispanic men. And now he is the driving force for gun control in the United States, step by step by step. I guess a broken clock or something like that. |

It means the assault weapons ban is on hold until the end of the year unless it goes to a higher court before then. If not then it can be extended until it gets heard. However…the traitors will file for a stay which means the injunction is no good. Also however…we may still see retailers not make sales to residents as many such as Midway and Palmetto tend to chuck us under the bus quickly for non-restricted items. |

I'm sure they already have a stay filled out and will be turning in the paperwork already if possible. I guess we have another 6 months for the people of Virginia to let the politicians and judges know that we are all mad and we want this stopped. All of us. |
