Luke from Luke's Lab was learning how to machine on a Swiss Machine. He was familiar with CNC coming from an Engineering Manager background. He was struggling to keep track of his calculation so he created a website to calculate everything for him. He has released it to the public for free. | Looks like a handy calculator, I passed it along. We are running some nasty material right now but I finally figured out a tooling issue. I gave some new inserts to one of my guys and said run these at 180 SFM with .0085/rev feed, he looked at me like I was speaking Greek and asked how many RPM's. I've showed him how to calculate that a dozen times but he can't seem to grasp it. |
