Would that be the U.S. Forestry Service?

I didn't know Forestry had a LEO contingent. I know USNPS does but I didn't Forestry had one.

If you go to the FLETC website and look for partnering organizations, the list of agencies that have law-enforcement capabilities and get trained there would blow your mind.

I live in the forest and they're very active here, generally keeping the dumbest people visiting the forest from
doing stupid stuff just like other LE. They primarily operate with our local sheriff handling ID/plate checks,
most of the enforcement is for improper use of firearms, reckless driving of offroad vehicles, and
occasional campsite disputes (and getting homeless to obey the 14 day stay limit camping.)

The forest has completely separate non-LEO teams that do patrol, and then they'll call in the LEO side
if needed (as well as dispatch due to citizen complaints.)

Also you missed your 5,000th post.

Oh man, epic fail on my part. When I was at FLETC back in 2011, my mind was completely blown by how many agencies were there.

The FS definitely has LEOs, usually 1-2 but depends on foot traffic through it and past issues. What’s your questions about em? Either post or DM me. Answers may vary from region to region and forest to forest. I have limited knowledge of R6 OR.
