Haven't you guys heard the conversations about the really brilliant applied physics types that are rockstars all the way through school and then disappear from the physics community all together about the time they get their PhDs? We train some amazing brains that seem to never do anything of note. They disappear. Some go home I'd guess but even then publishing papers is the measure of success and they never do that either. Some maybe just burn out or get laid... There are entire segments of scientific research that only happen under the control of governments and you don't get to publish papers about those topics. |

Definitely some 411 level weird, my skepticism at the 411 books aside. Person 1: Lady. Cancer. It happens. A lot. You don't even have to be a lady to get it. Person 2: Lady named Monica. IMO: Murdered by her yogi. No such thing as a yogi you can trust. I gayrontee the Yogi raped and murdered her. Person 3: Dude. A General at that. Goes on walkabout and still out there. Did he have dementia or was he in full possession of his faculties? This one is odd. (read further...he does NOT have dementia or alzheimer's) Gotta read that again! Good article! |

Kinda dumb sets of conjecture. Lots of focus on the Friend A guy, and interpretation of statements and actions that do not comport with the psychology of normal individuals. IE, the author is trying too hard reading sus into shit that isn't sus. Realistically, she likely wandered the wrong way down the ridge, got lost, wandered a few more miles, and then tripped and fell. Head injury, body stuck between a few boulders or underneath an overhang after crawling in for shade. Add a shitty SAR op plan to the mix, and you get missing body. Adding a memorial page after 4 days isn't jumping the gun by much, in that kind of terrain and heat, survival odds are pretty dim after the first day or two. As for the general, that reads to me as suicide. He left on foot, headed east into the hills up Bear Canyon, and probably popped himself a few miles east and a few hundred yards uphill. There's probably some points of concern in his private life recently, and warning signs that were ignored or well hidden. Dude decided to check out in his own way and time, and didn't want to leave a body at home. |
